“The Most Amazing Fact in the World” Booklet
This is a personal booklet project showcasing a quote by Gerald M. Edelman on how everyone possesses the most complex entity in the entire known universe.
“There are about one million billion connections in your cerebral cortex. A large match head’s worth of your brain contains about a billion connections. The number of neural connections in your brain, plus all of the possible ways they can be variously connected to one another, would be the number followed by the number 10 followed by millions of zeros. It would only be natural to assume that the number of charged particles contained within the entire universe would also have to constitute the largest number of things possible. But not in this case, not by a long shot. The total number of charged particles in the entire known universe is the number 10 followed by eighty zeros.”
